Rail disruption: Delays to some ScotRail services after train hits stag

ScotRail has reported delays to some services after a stag was hit by a train between Blair Atholl and Dalwhinnie on Saturday afternoon.

Posting on Twitter, ScotRail wrote: “One of our trains has struck a stag between Blair Atholl & Dalwhinnie.

“It's caused a fault, which our crew are working to fix so we can get the train moving again.

“This is causing some delays to other services on the Highland Mainline too.”

ScotRail say they are working to get the train moving again.
