Police seize £200,000 of suspected cocaine after searching car at Cromarty Bridge

The discovery was made at around 9am on Tuesday morning, March 9 officers stopped and searched the vehicle on the Cromarty Bridge.

A quantity of drugs, believed to be cocaine was recovered and a 29-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with alleged drugs offences. They are due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
