Man injured in Blairgowrie as cherry picker topples

A man has been injured after his cherry picker overturned.

Emergency services were called to Newton Terrace, in Blairgowrie, Perth and Kinross, at around 12.40pm on Wednesday.

The vehicle had toppled over and the driver was left trapped inside.

A crew from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service removed the front window and ambulance personnel helped to release the man.

He suffered head and back injuries.
