Person struck by vehicle on A90 motorway in Perth and Kinross

A person was struck by a vehicle on the A90 in Perth this afternoon, Police Scotland has announced.

Police were called to the scene on the A90 in Kinfauns in the Perth and Kinross area at 3.50pm today, February 26, following a report of a vehicle colliding with a person.

Officers are still at the scene and the northbound lane is currently closed.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Officers were called to reports of a vehicle colliding with a person on the A90 near Kinfauns around 3.50pm on Friday 26 February 2021.

"Officers are still at the scene and one lane is currently closed northbound."

Traffic Scotland has reported that traffic is slow in the area with a ten minute delay to travel as a result of the ongoing incident.

Motorists are being urged to drive safe and take care on approach.
