Portrait Gallery hosts Lennox exhibition

AN exhibition based on the life and times of singer Annie Lennox is to open at the Scottish Portrait Gallery.

The House of Annie Lennox will bring together an array of photographs, videos, costumes and outfits, including one she wore during a performance with David Bowie at the Freddy Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992.

Exhibits on show at the Queen Street attraction from tomorrow will chart the singer’s career from
her time in The Tourists and Eurythmics through to her solo work.

She said: “It’s an incredible honour to have the opportunity to share and display aspects of my life’s work. It has given me a tremendous sense of validation, and in doing so, brings a certain personal cycle to
a place of arrival and
completion.”
