Youth jobs summit aim

A SUMMIT aimed at boosting youth employment is being held in West Lothian today as part of a Scottish Government drive to improve the lot of young people.

Held at the offices of IT firm Oracle, the meeting will bring together the public, private and voluntary sectors with MSP Angela Constance, Minister for Youth Employment, to discuss ways to tackle youth unemployment.

Ms Constance said: “We need an all-government, all-Scotland approach and the public, private and third sectors must be united in supporting our young people to make the most of future job prospects.”
