Youth hunted after robbery

POLICE are hunting a youth who stole thousands of pounds worth of valuables from a woman’s home before vaulting over her garden fence.

Police said the woman returned to her home in Parkwood Crescent, Broxburn, between 8.10pm and 8.35pm on Tuesday to see a young man climbing over her fence.

The thief, aged between 15 and 20, then ran off and the woman contacted police after finding laptops and jewellery — with a total value of around £7500 — had been stolen.
