Youth charged with woman's murder

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murdering a woman who was found dying in a West Lothian street.

Two other people, a man aged 34 and a woman aged 19, were also charged in connection with Nattalie Muir's death, Lothian and Borders Police said.

The 21-year-old mother of a two-year-old daughter was discovered in Whitburn shortly before 3am on Saturday. She is believed to have been on a night out.

She was taken from Brucefield Drive, off East Main Street, to Wishaw General Hospital where she died.

Part of the town centre was cordoned off for much of the day as forensic examiners attended the scene.

Another man was taken into police custody on Saturday night.
