Young One is the write stuff

YOUNG Ones star Nigel Planer is hoping to inspire city high school pupils at a special writing workshop today.

The actor, who is most famous for his role as Neil Pye in the 80s sitcom, is teaming up with Scottish author James Robertson to host the event in Morningside.

Run with Edinburgh Napier University’s Centre for Literature and Writing and the Robert Louis Stevenson Club, the workshop follows the first RLS Writing Competition for Schools.
