Wrong kind of fuel costs police £5,500

POLICE officers have caused £5,500 worth of damage by putting the wrong type of fuel into cars.

Tayside Police has revealed 25 separate incidents in the last five years of putting petrol in diesel cars or vice versa. In 2010, £1,800 worth of damage was caused.
