Another guitarist, Eden Galindo, can be seen scrambling away towards the back of the stage for cover.

Dorio’s brother Michael told US media: “[Julian] said they were playing, about six songs into the show, and they heard - before they saw anything - they heard automatic machine gun fire.

“And it was so loud, it was louder than the band, and they all hit the stage floor.

“And as they got up to try to evacuate they saw men with machine guns just shooting anything and everything in the venue.”

The band’s merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, was killed in the Bataclan attack.

The 36-year-old, from Colchester in Essex, was selling merchandise for the band at the venue.

At least 89 people were killed at the Bataclan venue.

A series of attacks in the venue, the Stade de France, restaurants and bars across Paris left 129 at dead and 350 wounded, 99 critically.
