Two-thirds of French 'don't want Sarkozy'

ALMOST two-thirds of French people do not want president Nicolas Sarkozy to stand for re-election in 2012, a survey showed yesterday, underlining continued discontent after dismal regional election results. However, 82 per cent of those polled by BVA for Canal+ television said they expected Mr Sarkozy to run.
