Norwegian shooting: Lawyer admit Breivik case is having ‘serious impact’ on his life

THE prosecution consists of two state prosecutors, Svein Holden and Inga Bejer Engh.

Breivik is being defended by Geir Lippestad and three assistants, Vibeke Hein Baera, Tord Jordet and Odd Ivar Groen.

Mr Lippestad, 48, has previously taken on controversial clients whose crimes have shocked Norway and touched on racial tensions.

Mr Lippestad has admitted that the Breivik case is having a serious impact on his life.

Breivik will be tried by a panel of five judges, comprising two professional judges and three lay judges whose votes will all weigh equally.The chief judge is one of the professionals, Wenche Elizabeth Arntzen, 52, a part-time professor of ethics at Oslo University.
