Norway shooting: Emergency call transcript reveals matter-of-fact tone as killer offers to surrender

The first call was directed at 18.01, police said.

Police: “Police emergency.

Breivik: Hello, my name is Commander Anders Behring Breivik of the Norwegian anti-Communist resistance movement.

B: I’m on Utøya at the moment. I wish to surrender.

P: Are you calling from your mobile?

B: Yes, This isn’t my mobile, another...

P: “Police emergency.

B: Good day, my name is Anders Behring Breivik.

P: Yes, hello.

B: I’m Commander of the Norwegian resistance movement.

P: Yes, hello.

B: Can you transfer me to Delta’s operations leader?

P: Yes, how do you fit in to this?

B: I’m on Utøya.

P: You are on Utøya, OK.

B: I have completed my operation, so I would like to… surrender.

P: And you are commander of what…?

B: We have just completed an operation on behalf of Knights Templar.
