Mitt Romney’s man goes to business lobby

The national co-chairman of Republican Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign is to resign to lobby for the US financial services industry.

The Financial Services Roundtable announced yesterday that former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty will become its president and chief executive on November 1. Mr Pawlenty was an early Republican presidential contender.
