Lorry loaded with puppies crashes

A LORRY carrying 113 puppies crashed on a motorway in western Germany yesterday – but all but one of the dogs survived.

Ludwigshafen police said the truck slid off a rainy exit ramp near the city of Schifferstadt before dawn and tipped over.
