Kellyanne Conway, a former counselor to Donald Trump, has been accused by her daughter of posting a topless picture onto her social media page.

The Twitter account of Conway, who served as a senior counselor to the former president from 2017 to 2020, reportedly hosted a nude photo of 16-year-old Claudia under the Fleets section, before it was promptly deleted.

Claudia, who has been outspoken about her mother’s conservative views on social media platform TikTok confirmed that the picture was genuine.

Twitter have said that hey are investigating the incident, while Conway has declined to comment.

What did Claudia Conway say about the Twitter post?

A visibly upset Claudia Conway confirmed the image was legitimate in a video posted onto TikTok on Monday.

The teenager suggested that her mum may have posted the picture by accident.

She said: “I’m assuming my mom took a picture of it to use against me one day and then somebody hacked her or something.”

She added: “I’m literally at a loss for words. If you see it, report it.”

In a separate video she said: “nobody would ever have any photo like that, ever. So, Kellyanne, you’re going to f****** jail.”

What are Claudia Conway’s previous claims of abuse?

Last week, Claudia accused her mother of verbal and physical abuse in a series of TikTok videos. In one video a voice, which Claudia claims is her mother’s, states “you’re lucky your mom’s pro life.”

The unseen woman can also be heard saying: “you don’t f***ing listen – what the f*** is wrong with you?” and “F*** you, f*** you. It’s over, it’s over—I don’t care who’s following you, dumba**

Claudia also appears to be hit with bed sheets during one clip.

In comments beneath the post, the 16-year-old claims that she has asked lawyers about the possibility of emancipation, but that is “nearly impossible” due to her parents’ “high profile”.

Who is Kellyanne Conway?

Before serving as counsellor, Conway was Trump's campaign manager, and is the first woman to have successfully run a US presidential campaign.

Before her work with Trump, she had previously held campaign manager and strategist roles within the Republican Party.

Like much of Trump's administration, Conway is a divisive figure.

In early 2017 she grabbed headlines for the use of the phrase 'alternative facts', an expression she used to defend then White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer's false statements about the attendance of Trump's inauguration.

Conway also appeared to be the inventor of the Bowling Green Massacre, a case of domestic terrorism that never happened but was used as justification for the President's controversial travel and immigration ban from Muslim-majority countries.
