A BOMBARDIER Challenger CRJ-200 passenger plane crashed in thick fog near Kazakhstan’s commercial capital Almaty yesterday, killing all 21 people on board. The aircraft came down near Kyzyl Tu, about three miles from the airport. “There was no fire, no explosion. The plane just plunged to the earth,” said a spokesman for the emergencies department said.
