Jordan releases 22 activists from jail

Jordan’s King Abdullah II yesterday ordered the release of 22 activists who were detained after anti-government protests.

Jordan has largely averted violent protests that have seen Arab leaders toppled in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Yemen.
