Home–made cannon kills girlfriend

A CALIFORNIAN man has been arrested after a home-made cannon blasted through his San Diego mobile home, killing his girlfriend.

Richard Fox, 39, shot the cannon after loading it with fireworks powder, said County sheriff David Martinez. His 38-year-old girlfriend was found dead from shrapnel wounds at the home.
