Gunman spotted at Boston’s MIT

A US university is on lockdown after a man carrying a long rifle and wearing body armour was spotted in a campus building.

Several law enforcement agencies have responded, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology said today.

The school is advising students and workers to stay indoors and report suspicious activity to campus police.
