Ghana says it will release training ship

Ghana’s government has said it will abide by a UN tribunal’s order made this weekend for the immediate release of an Argentine navy training ship seized two months ago at the request of an American hedge fund.

The ARA Libertad was impounded on 2 October in the port of Tema at the behest of private creditors as collateral for unpaid bonds dating from Argentina’s economic crisis.
