French buy Brontë rarity for £70k

AN UNPUBLISHED Charlotte Brontë manuscript has been sold at auction in London for almost £700,000 to a French museum. The Young Men’s Magazine, Number 2, sold for £690,850 to La Musie des Lettres et Manuscrits in Paris, despite bids by the Brontë Society.
