Fighting ‘may make food crisis worse’

The United Nations’ World Food Programme has warned that recent fighting between South Sudan and Sudan could push more people into a hunger crisis.

WFP South Sudan country director Chris Nikoi said the food situation in the border region was already precarious, and recent clashes threatened to displace more people.
