Emperor to attend tsunami memorial

Japan’s Emperor Akihito was discharged from hospital yesterday following a successful coronary bypass surgery.

Akihito, 78, aims to attend a service to mark the anniversary of the 2011 tsunami, although doctors say he should not return to official duties yet.
