Court orders medical tests on Silvio Berlusconi

A COURT in Italy yesterday ordered medical checks to be carried out on Silvio Berlusconi, 76, to verify he cannot attend a trial due to health problems.

He is on trial in Milan on charges of paying for sex with an underage prostitute and abuse of power, but has been in hospital since Friday.
