A GAMBIAN labour group is calling on the country’s government to reconsider its decision to impose a four-day working week.

A government statement in January said that, beginning this month, civil servants’ work weeks will be reduced to four days “to allow Gambians to devote more time to prayers, social activities and agriculture”.
