Bodyboarder is 2nd shark victim

A MAN in his 20s was killed by a 16ft great white shark that bit off his leg as bodyboarded off Cape Town yesterday.

“There are no other bite marks or lacerations on the deceased man’s body – only the complete amputation of the right leg and the leg has not been recovered,” said South Africa’s National Sea Rescue Institute. It is the Cape’s second fatal great white attack in two years. A Zimbabwean man was eaten in January 2010.
