14–year–old faces jail on drugs charge

A 14-YEAR-OLD Australian faces the possibility of 12 years in jail after tearfully admitting he bought cannabis on Indonesia’s resort island of Bali.

The teenager is accused of buying 3.6 grammes of marijuana while on holiday. Under the country’s strict narcotics law, a minor can evade prison and undergo rehabilitation if he can prove a history of drug use.
