Work begins on city flats

CONSTRUCTION has begun on an affordable housing and retail development in East Craigs.

In a move to help regenerate the neighbourhood Mactaggart & Mickel Homes is working with the Places for People Group and Castle Rock Edinvar on two and three-bedroom flats.

Heather Macnaughton, of Castle Rock Edinvar, said: "We know there will be a lot of demand."
