Women to get set for big charity race

A CANCER charity is appealing for female runners to take part in this year's Race for Life on 13 June.

Last year, more than 6,000 took part in the Cancer Research UK's women-only race around Holyrood Park.

Organiser Olivia Mclean said: "This year's race is going to be full of amazing moments for everyone – from lining up at the start with thousands of other women to the fantastic sense of achievement from crossing the finish line."
