Woman's death 'suspicious'

A POLICE investigation has been launched after a woman's body was found in a flat. Officers are treating the death of the 31-year-old woman as suspicious.

The body was found at 11:20pm on Wednesday in a flat in Burnfield Road, Thornliebank, near Glasgow.

"A post-mortem examination will be held to establish the exact cause of death," Strathclyde Police said.
