Woman’s body found in Broughty Ferry
Police have sealed off an area of Broughty Ferry following the discovery of a woman’s body.
Officers were called to Douglas Terrace in the seaside town at 8.20am this morning before closing off the area while investigations were carried out.
A police spokesman said: “Police Service of Scotland can confirm that the body of a 59-year-old female was found on the beach in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, about 8.20am on the 10 January 2015.
There are not thought to be any suspcicius circumstances and a report is to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
