Woman is treated after blaze in flat

A WOMAN has been treated for smoke inhalation following a fire in the Capital.

The blaze broke out in a fourth-floor flat at Morningside View, Maxwell Street, just after 11am on Saturday and was extinguished prior to the arrival of fire crews.

The 54-year-old casualty, described as conscious and breathing on the arrival of firefighters, was treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics at the scene.

She did not require hospital treatment.
