Woman due in court after man seriously injured
A WOMAN has been charged following an attack which left a man with serious injuries.
The 35-year-old was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh after the assault at a house in Old School Terrace in Mayfield, Midlothian, on Saturday night at around 11.30pm.
A Police Scotland spokesman said a 43-year-old woman has been arrested and charged following a “serious assault” on a 35-year-old man within a property in Mayfield on Saturday.
She is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
