Woman dies after being hit by bus in Glasgow
A WOMAN has died after she was hit by a bus on a city street, police said.
The 37-year-old was crossing Duke Street near John Wheatley College in the east end of Glasgow when she was struck by a bus travelling westbound.
She suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
The bus driver was uninjured but was badly shaken.
Strathclyde Police appealed for information about the incident which happened at around 7.50pm on Wednesday.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
