Woman in critical condition after nightclub fall

A 46-year-old woman is in a critical condition in a Dundee hospital after falling and banging her head at a city nightclub.

The woman, who has not been named, was rushed by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in the early hours of the morning after emergency services were called to the Out Night Club in the city’s Seagate.

A Tayside Police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to Out Night Club at about 2.30am this morning after a 46-year-old woman was reported to have fallen and banged her head.

The condition of the woman, who is from the Dundee area, quickly deteriorated and she was taken by ambulance to the city’s Ninewells Hospital, where her condition is understood to be critical.”

He added: “Tayside Police are carrying out enquiries into the full set of circumstances surrounding the incident and would appeal to anyone who was at the nightclub last night or who has any information that could assist their investigation to contact the force.”
