A WOMAN is to stand trial accused of harbouring a child who had absconded from a secure unit on Christmas Day.

Kerry Hughes, 18, of Dundee, is accused of concealing the child – who cannot be named for legal reasons – after the child allegedly ran away from Rossie Secure Unit in Montrose, Angus.
Theo Finlay, defending, said: “She pleads not guilty.”
