Woman, 81, dies after being hit by van
An 81-year-old pedestrian has died following a road collision in Angus.
The incident, involving a black Volkswagen van, happened at around 3.25pm on Thursday in Keptie Street, Arbroath.
Barbara Stormont, 81, was treated at the scene and taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where she later died from her injuries.
The driver of the van was not injured.
