Witness appeal after elderly man robbed

POLICE have appealed for information after a 92-year-old man was robbed in Kilmarnock.

The man answered the door at his home on Thursday when a male threatened him, taking a three-figure sum of cash. The assailant was in his late teens to early twenties, around 5ft 9" tall, wearing a black anorak, dark clothing and a wool hat.
