But will they be playing Baker Street?

The Arthur Conan Doyle Quartet prepare for the Concert for Trees later this month.

The group will be among the musicians performing at the Usher Hall on November 26 in what is expected to be a sell-out show.

The event is inspired by the detective novelist’s Edinburgh childhood home, in which an old sycamore tree stood.

The quartet will be joined by the “Sherlock” violin, which was made from that same tree in 2009.
