Old Manse

My wife and I had an absolutely perfect stay at The Old Manse. We stayed in the Burns room for three nights and enjoyed every moment. The breakfast was excellent and is served in a wonderful room that overlooks the back of the property and the surrounding mountains. We even had breakfast one morning in the company of deer passing through the property. However, the best part of the entire stay was the friendship that we developed with Julie and Martin who operate the B&B.

Spotless and homely accommodation matched with incredibly friendly hosts who couldn’t do more to help. The rooms are excellent but Julie and Martin are the real stars. It is rare to find people so attentive yet simultaneously so relaxed and natural.

My husband and I with two other friends stayed at this B&B while attending a wedding nearby. Absolutely brilliant accommodation and wonderful hosts, spotless, jaw-dropping attention to detail in all aspects. Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful choice of dishes cooked in front of you and as fresh as you can get. Mark and Rob are really nice and very down to earth.

I stayed one night when attending a wedding nearby. This is how a B&B should be, and beats hotels which cost a lot more. I can wholeheartedly recommend this outstanding, sophisticated guest house and will certainly stay there again.
