Heavy rain forecast in Edinburgh for 5pm
The weather in Edinburgh will stay bright and dry for most of the day - but heavy rain is forecast for 5pm.
Temperatures will fluctuate mainly between 11C and 12C for the rest of the morning and afternoon, with a predicted high of 13C.
But Met Office forecasters have also warned of the potential for thunder and heavy rain later on in the afternoon.
According to the Met Office website, the weather is forecast to turn at about 5pm.
Wind speeds are expected to stay low throughout the day at between 7mph and 8mph.
