Ways to teach human rights

AN event discussing how human rights issues can be explored in primary and secondary classrooms is set to take place as part of the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

Using Fiction to Teach Human Rights will be held at Charlotte Square at 5pm today.

The Amnesty International event is primarily for teachers and librarians, but anyone can attend. It will include a panel offering insights, expertise and practical advice on how fictional literature can be used to engage students.
