Warship sets sail for trials

A REFITTED warship set sail from a Scottish dockyard yesterday to begin sea trials before returning to active duty.

HMS Kent left Rosyth after almost a year of extensive repairs and refurbishment at the Babcock yard in Fife.

A spokesman for Babcock said the launch was successful.

The Royal Navy has described the ship as one of its “most versatile and capable warships” after the refit.
