Warning on cheap fake power tools

BRITISH consumers have been warned that buying cheap imitation power tools could put their lives at risk.

Police said inferior products are on the market under reputable trade names or with near copycat branding.

They said international organised crime gangs often sell the equipment door-to-door, at car boot sales or through websites.
