Warners tops pile for 14th year in a row

A PROPERTY firm has been rated as the best estate agent in the Capital for the 14th year in a row.

Warners, which has four branches across the city, topped the table in listings and sales according to data held by the ESPC. Scott Brown, estate agency partner at Warners, said the award underlined a successful 2012 for the company.

He said: “We sold our 10,000th property since the millennium and saw a positive turn in the property market with our sales levels increasing, coupled with a marked growth in confidence among buyers and sellers.

“Last year had its challenges with prices remaining fairly flat so it is a testament to our approach and the hard work of our staff that we have achieved this prestigious ESPC accolade for the past 14 years now.”

The firm sold 661 houses at a sales value of more than £110 million, up 6.4 per cent on the previous year.

The ESPC’s David Marshall said: “With increasing competition between our members and each developing their own position in the market we congratulate Warners on achieving their position over an extended time period.”
