War history takes flight

THE National Museum of Flight at East Fortune, East Lothian, will be hosting a World War Experience day on May 27.

The event will feature living history presenters and their military vehicles, with the chance to watch “live battles” and explore life on the front line in recreated military encampments.

There will be workshops teaching participants how to make do and mend, and the chance to dress up and pose for a wartime portrait.
