SCOTTISH Enterprise today unveiled plans to attract £350 million of investment into the offshore renewable industry in Scotland by 2015.

Its target is to create up to 35,000 jobs, including 12,000 “high value” posts.

Chief executive Lena Wilson said there was no sign that uncertainty over Scotland’s constitutional future was detering investors.

She said: “When they look at Scotland they are looking at key things like the talent we have.”
