Volunteers sought to help with beach clean-up

VOLUNTEERS are being asked to help clean a popular beach which has been badly covered in litter due to winter storms.

The Marine Conservation Society will be holding its Adopt-a-Beach event at Cramond Beach on Saturday 6 February.

The group is urging local people and beach users to join in, as well as helping complete a litter survey. All equipment will be provided, and there will be refreshments afterwards.

The meeting point is at the start of Cramond causeway at 10am.
